Jissan Cherian serves as an Executive Advisor for SINTA and President and Founder of DVERSFY, a leadership development and business consulting firm dedicated to serving Start-Ups and Founders in the Consumer Healthcare space to achieve sustainable growth and leadership excellence.

 

Jissan Cherian is an accomplished marketing leader with over 20 years of experience across Consumer Healthcare, Technology, and Management Consulting. As the former Senior Director of the U.S. Digestive Health portfolio at Haleon/GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Jissan led a $1 billion portfolio of iconic brands such as TUMS, Benefiber, Nexium, and Preparation-H, driving brand equity and consumer loyalty through innovative marketing strategies, digital excellence, and a focus on customer-first solutions.  Jissan also led the successful U.S. Rx-to-OTC Switch launch of Voltaren Arthritis Pain Gel, a milestone achievement that expanded access and self-care to millions of arthritis and joint pain consumers.  Jissan's career began at Microsoft, where he joined as a Technologist in the SAP-ERP division. His ability to translate technical solutions into business value quickly set him apart, earning him the opportunity to lead Microsoft’s first Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity initiative. From Microsoft, he transitioned to Deloitte Consulting, where he leveraged his technical background to optimize business processes for major clients in retail, banking, and consumer goods. 

 

Jissan earned his BBA in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin and his MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and International Management from Carnegie Mellon University.  In 2025, Jissan earned an Executive Certification in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from MIT Sloan School of Management.
