Abigail Buckwalter is the Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Health Science U.S. (NHSc), responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of NHSc with a focus on developing nutrition solutions rooted in science. Over her two-decade tenure within the Nestlé organization, Abigail has cultivated a strong belief in the company’s mission to empower healthier lives through nutrition. Her diverse background and entrepreneurial mindset fuel her ability to deliver results for the business. Leading with a people-first approach, Abigail excels in orchestrating business and growth strategies while emphasizing a compassionate, accountable, and agile approach.

 An integral leader at NHSc since its inception, Abigail Buckwalter brings a wealth of enterprise experience to her role. She has built a proven track record of success, taking on increased leadership responsibilities in strategy and general management roles across Europe, Oceania, and the U.S. Under Abigail’s leadership, NHSc has accelerated product development, geographic expansion, and brand-building initiatives by optimizing the portfolio and operations. Abigail is adept at business integration, building diverse high-performing teams, and leading operations in complex and competitive channels and business areas, with a focus on improving the health of people worldwide.

Abigail serves as Chair on the Board of Directors for Healthcare Nutrition Council and sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association. She holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Columbia University in New York. Beyond her professional life, Abigail's role as a mother continually reinforces the significance of her work in promoting healthier lives and shaping a better future for her three children.
