CHPA Welcomes New Board Members at November Meeting

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — New members of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) Board of Directors were elected at the association’s fall meeting, held November 14, 2018, in New York City, N.Y. Gary Downing, chief executive officer, Clarion Brands LLC, continues serving as CHPA’s board chairman.

Newly elected CHPA board members at this meeting include:

  • Paul Gama, vice president, North America personal health care, The Procter & Gamble Company
  • Patrick Lockwood-Taylor, president, consumer health North America, Bayer Consumer Healthcare  

“It’s an exciting time for our industry,” said Scott Melville, CHPA president and CEO. “CHPA is delighted to have industry leaders like Paul and Patrick at the table as CHPA works to help consumers achieve happier, healthier lives through responsible self-care. Their deep knowledge of our industry will be invaluable to our work.”

Lockwood-Taylor served as CHPA chairman for two years (2014-2016). Additionally, both Gama and Lockwood-Taylor were elected to serve on the CHPA board’s executive committee.
